Aloha & Ayukîi! I hope all is well. My name is Ku'iokalani (Walker) Hanapi. I have a degree is psychology & I've been an artistic person all of my life. I love to be around animals 24/7! I have pet & property sitting experience in many diverse locations & situations. Most of my life I've been around many different types of pets & livestock. I have volunteered for animal shelters, wild animal rescues, zoos & the BLM throughout four different states. I was a vet assistant & security officer during my late teens, through my early twenties. During my late twenties, through my mid forties I owned a K9 training & pet/property care business in conjunction with working in maximum security psych. Currently, I'm based in SoCal. I'm a full-time artist & pet/property care provider. At fifty-four years old, I strive to live a active & healthy lifestyle. I enjoy spending time outside in nature. My outdoor activities include hiking, swimming, surfing, paddling & horseback riding. Indoors, I enjoy reading, dancing, singing, going to live music/theater events & listening to music. Ku'iokalani was so accommodating! I had to attend a meeting in Prescott and he happily watched my little guy while I was able to focus on work! I would book with him again ??

Kui was great with our temperamental Zeus. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. Worked with Zeus to reenforce some commands. Communicated well. We will definitely use him again. He is the best dog sitter we have had from Rover.

A typical day
My normal activities with dogs would consist of: Daily walks in different locations in order to stimulate them every day. If they can have treats throughout the day, I hide their treats & let them find them. If they're trained, I will do multiple mini-daily training sessions with them throughout the day. I also like to socialize the dogs as much as possible. I'm an LMT & have immense experience in both human, canine & feline therapies. I like to perform daily mini massages, stretches & ROM (range of motion) therapies on the pets. If the dog can swim & the weather is permitting, I will also have them do daily or as-needed swimming sessions.
