Hi there! My husband and I have been wanting another dog as a buddy for our current dog for a while but not wanting the extra cost. So, we thought it would be a good idea to try Rover. Dog care history: In addition to both John and I caring for our family's dogs, we have cared for friends and family pets while on vacation many times. We are animal lovers and will treat yours as if they were our own! Our Pets: We have one dog at our residence, Tucker. He is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois, Shepard, Lab mix. He is great with all other dogs regardless of size or age, and very good at recognizing the condition of other dogs he is introduced to. He is more than happy playing at any level, and will also be content with an older dog who may just want space. We also have a cat, Roxy. She is older and patient, and has her own space set aside that she likes to stick to. Our House: We moved from Five Points where we hosted many pups and recently bought a house in Stonehenge with a large fenced in yard and a screened in porch. Plenty of room to fetch and stretch their legs! We will be with your pets the vast majority of the time, but in case no one is home for a brief time, we do have cameras that I can use to check up on the animals as well. We also have a dog door, so if your dog would use it that is a plus! We have a bedroom set aside for your pup, but are open to having them sleep/stay in any area of the house depending on your preferences. Our schedule: I work about 15 mins from home, part time and create my own hours. I am also enrolled in full time online schooling to further my education in Functional Medicine. John works from home. Caring for your pet: Your dog, your rules. For example, if you are ok with them on furniture, they are welcome on the couch. If not, then we won't allow it either. We recognize how easily dogs learn bad habits and how difficult they can be to get rid of, so any rules or routines you set for the dog, we will be happy to adopt. Your dog's health, safety, and happiness are of upmost importance when under our care, and we understand that each dog may have unique needs. Upon dropping your dog off, in addition to the information provided by rover, we will be sure to collect additional notes or instructions regarding care for your pup! We are able to take for walks daily if requested. On Sunday's, if weather permits, we usually take Tucker to Millbrook or Oakwood Dog Park and would be happy to have your dog join us! We are excited to meet some new dogs and dog owners and hopefully make some new friends! Krystyl and John
