I am a long-time animal lover, but dogs have always been a favorite. My sidekick’s name is Ziggy. He is an 1-year old adopted German Shepherd who keeps me busy! Ziggy also has three cat siblings: Ziek, Zack, and Zoey. Ziggy is obedient on/off leash and I have trained him to do the following commands thus far: sit, stay, lay down, rollover, play dead, place and several others. Together we enjoy playing hours of ball (or so it seems at times), frequent trips to the dog park, walks, hiking, playing with or in the water, tug-a-war, working on new tricks and routinely practicing the old ones or just plain relaxing. I am a full-time social worker and have a very flexible schedule. This flexibility allows me to care for other dogs in the area throughout the workday if needed.
