While I do not have dogs or cats in my own residence due to allergies in my family, I place high importance on core needs: Nutrition: Providing a balanced diet suitable for the species. Exercise: Ensure they get enough physical activity and mental stimulation. Healthcare: Regular check-ups, observation for signs and symptoms, grooming, and parasite prevention. Safety: Create a safe environment, keeping harmful substances away. Love and Attention: Spend quality time bonding and meeting their emotional needs. Currently we have a 35 gallon fish tank with aquatic plants with a community of various small and medium fish. As an example, I provide varied and nutritious food on a regular schedule (without overfeeding), clean weekly with water changes and testing, monitor for symptoms or illness, and offer stimulation and variety in tank design. When caring for pets of friends and family, I am keen on details and listening to ensure I understand the pet owners expectations and ensure their wishes and instructions are followed and adhered to. I am a strong communicator and possess the empathy, compassion and dedication to be a great caregiver!
