**I've moved to the Northwest/Inwood area. I am however willing to do pick up/drop off for my furry friends from the Heights for free! I am back on Rover and can board full time again. Hope to see you soon!** Hi there! I am a full-time student at UH majoring in Teaching and Learning with hopes to become an elementary school teacher. In my spare time, I dog-sit for friends and family to make a little extra money (and because I love dogs!) I've had dogs my entire life, of all breeds and sizes. I especially have a big heart for rescue, disabled, and senior dogs. I can work around your schedule and am flexible with timing. I'm home during the day and take mostly online classes so I am available to spend the day with your dogs, or have them spend the days (and nights) with me. I accept dogs of all sizes and breeds. I've had puppy and senior dog experience and everything in between. I have spent 8 or so years as a preschool teacher. Patience, acceptance, and understanding are all skills I have that helped me in that role, and honestly, they are necessary for good dog/owner relationships as well. I can't wait to meet your pets! *I require meet and greets for any dogs that I watch, whether it's boarding or house sitting, no exceptions. I am usually not able to accommodate same day requests for care*

I have a fenced backyard, a pool if your dogs like to swim, and lots of dog toys and comfy places to sleep. When your dogs are boarding with me, my house is their house :)

Information Krysten M. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for your dog, I would want them to meet my dogs Oscar and Prissie. Oscar has never had a problem with other dogs, but I want to make sure everyone will be friendly. Oscar is big, but an absolute goof. Miss Prissie is an old lady. She's 10 years old and only weighs 5 pounds. She's little but fierce and is pretty much the boss of the house. She might bark at other dogs but she will either tolerate them or stay out of their way. I would also want to know about your dog's temperament. Some dogs are high maintenance and want attention, some dogs are more chill and just want to lay around. Extra information is always better than not enough! It's always good to know if your dog has separation issues and what their normal eating/sleeping routine is, as well as anything that they REALLY like or REALLY don't. :)
A typical day
My house sits directly on White Oak Bayou and I have direct/private access to the trail from my backyard for lots of walks and exercise. I also have a pool if your dog likes to swim! There is plenty of room and plenty of friends to play with.
