I started house sitting for a friend of my moms who had 7 cats. I would stay at her house every summer for 2 weeks and care for the animals. They were all rescues and several had medical issues one being diabetic that I would give shots to. Over the years she added 2 dogs and now only has one cat left since the rest passed on. I raised almost all my cats from kittens and they are my babies. I love animals and I adapt easily to whatever accommodations are needed. But I have lived with animals my whole life. I grew up with a dog that I’d take for walks around our yard and I would feed the cats we had both indoor and outdoor cats back then. I raised 3 cats from tiny kittens 2 were 4 weeks when they came into my care and our newest kitten was 6 weeks. I love all animals whether they are furry or scaly. I have a childhood friend that has lizards and when I’d go over there her tegu would sleep with me. Animals are my life. My cats are my kids. I spoil them like kids too. But I could never live without an animal by my side. This is a part time thing for me as I work full time but even with my full time job I make adjustments to my schedule to fit the animals needs. I can take longer lunch breaks to let the animals out for potty breaks I can stop before work and after as well. I do dog walking on my days off and after I get off work in the evenings if needed. I put the animals first. I’m doing this for fun but to also help in saving money to buy my own house with my boyfriend next year so that I can hopefully add more services such as boarding and pick up and drop off. I honestly am used to being paid in cash and I never set prices before I was always just paid what they thought I earned. So unless this app makes you pay up front I’m happy with being paid after the service and being paid what you think I earned. I am currently dealing with unforeseen health problems and at the moment I am not allowed to drive so I am relying on rides from friends/family. At this time I can’t accept same day requests but if you provide me with enough advance notice I will do everything in my power to accommodate clients needs. Thank you
