Krystal Rose is my sister; she has cared for dogs since she was a child and has always had an extraordinary gift of calm loving energy that attracts any dog to her – they look up to her and listen. She had a Pomeranian named Monkey, the most well-behaved dog I have ever met. Monkey looked at Krystal Rose with a light of love in her eyes like I had never seen before. She would follow her everywhere, hang on her every word. I had never seen such a bond between a dog and a human. In my opinion, Monkey had the best life any dog could ask for, homemade doggy food, daily walks, many outings, and a balance of discipline, not to mention the enormous amount of love and care she received. I envied what she had with Monkey and dreamed of having that someday. As a dog lover myself, this summer, I decided to get a puppy. I got a female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and named her Charlotte. Oh my, I didn't realize how much work a puppy was, nor how much time I would need to give her the attention, care, and training required to create a well-trained and balanced dog. I would call my sister for advice, and she helped me get through the first four months. Sadly, in December, my fiancé, Chris, fell very ill, and any time I had to take care of the puppy now had to be spent caring for Chris. Between working full-time, caring for a puppy, and caring for Chris, I was at my wit's end and couldn't do it all. My sister loves me and dogs so much that she offered to drive from Bellingham, Washington, to California (Bay Area) to pick up and care for Charlotte until my life stabilizes. Not only did she offer to take care of her, but she offered to train her! Krystal Rose blew me away with this offer. She is an angel and inspires me to be a better person and do more to help people. Giving up my puppy, even if it was just temporary, was one of the hardest decisions I might have ever made. I felt like I was giving up my baby. I cried and cried, but I knew that Krystal Rose would be able to give her the love, attention, and discipline she needed, in addition to an environment with good energy and endless love. There is no one else in the world I would trust with my puppy Charlotte. I gave my sister the green light, and that angel drove straight to my house and arrived at 4 am. Soon as Charlotte saw my sister, she was in love; she even chose to sleep with her instead of me. The next day Charlotte followed her around and kept tabs on her every move. I thought it was love at first sight, and I was even a little envious. Charlotte has been with her for a couple of weeks, and I miss her so much! My sister sends me pictures of Charlotte on walks, playing with toys, and playing with her doggies, and some of my favorites are Charlotte nestled up against my sister while getting so much love; it truly warms my heart and puts a smile on my face. I know she is in the best hands, which puts my mind at ease. Krystal radiates love and a certain energy that can command dogs to listen. She gives them loads of love, is amazing with training and setting boundaries, and has remarkable patience.
