Kind, reliable, patient pet watcher

Pet care experience

I have experience with pets since I was a kid! First, a cat I rescued then a small yorkie that has recently passed. I rescued my current dog back in September 2019. I always watch my friends and families dogs while they are out of town. I love all pets and I am flexible to any need your pets have while in my care. While your pet is in my care I will be sure to be attentive, patient, and playful (if they are). I have a separate room for boarding and a soft crate if you want them to continue crate training. I have a fenced in back yard to get some additional exercise or fresh air. My dog is active so if your pet requires a walk throughout the day, I can accommodate. I currently work from home 3 days a week and go into the office 2 days a week. Through the week I am available before 8 a.m. or after 4 p.m. for drop in visits. I have full availability on the weekend. I keep my calendar up to date within two weeks. If you have any questions on availability, please feel free to shoot me a message! For boarding and day care: I have a fenced in back yard and a fur baby that can also provide play time with your pet! I like to walk my dog around the neighborhood to stretch out her legs. I ensure that there are plenty of potty breaks during the day and plenty of toys to keep them occupied! I do not provide dog food, so if you are boarding please ensure that your bring your pet's food. I do provide treats during the stay and can accommodate any special requests, within reason. For Drop-In Visits/Dog Walks - I will follow your accommodations and requests for your pet during the visit. I recommend using a harness for walking.

Krystal was a joy to work with. She was prompt, professional, and friendly. My cats did well with her sitting them.

Krystal has been our dog-sitter for over 4 years now. I've already given a review before, but need to say again how great we think she is! We just back from a long Alaskan vacation (2 weeks, which for us and our dog, Juliet, is double vaca time). As usual, we got pictures of our pup daily, and texts back and forth when I commented. It feels good to know that your baby is being taken care of so well while you're so far away, and we felt included in her life during our whole vacation. Juliet loves it there, and while she misses us, she loves the doggy playmates she gets to see again and has a blast with them, as well as Krystal, who takes over my "Mommy" role as soon as Juliet arrives, and throughout her stay. I always bring a couple of Juliet's big blankets to go with her doggy bed/crate, and they come back already washed! One less thing for me to do with all the unpacking, laundry and shopping I have to do when we get home! Much appreciated! Thanks Krystal!

Krystal did a great job with our puppy! She was very professional and sent us lots of photos and details about her drop in visit. We will be using her again.

My girls absolutely loved Krystal. She was a bright spot in their day while we were gone.

Information Krystal A. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know your pets temperament with other animals. If your pet has any known allergies or special accommodations that are needed. It also helps to know their current routine to try to ensure that it is kept. I require up to date vaccinations, specifically rabies, DHLP and bordetella for boarding and day care. I will not accept pets for boarding or daycare within the first 4 days after receiving Bordetella. I recommend vaccinations be given at least 2 weeks before boarding or daycare. If you are a new client, I will require a meet and greet before your booking. This is to ensure that I have a clear requirement of your pet's needs. This is also ensures that your pet will get along with me, for drop in visits, and my pet if boarding or daycare.

A typical day

I try to walk my dog once a day about a mile. If your dog needs more walking, I can accommodate. If your dog is not active and likes to be indoors, I can ensure a peaceful environment to keep them comfortable. My fenced in back yard allows for plenty of exercise and playing!
