Pet care experience
I had small pets when i was a child, but my family got a dog when i was in college. She is now an old pup, but we’ve loved every day with her! She is a Lhasa Apso, so has had her share of training. I currently have 2 cats, the oldest is 7 and the youngest is 4. I love cats, and also help my friend foster kittens through HAR. I’m capable of bottle feeding and administering medication. I will scoop your litter! Another friend also has a therapy dog that is registered, and goes to schools and hospitals. I am vigilant with pets, I try not to let anything get past me!

Kristyn is very compassionate and has an amazing ability to keep animals calm. She has cat-sit for me on numerous occasions, and managed to calm down even my most anxious cats. I have also seen her do the same with dogs both large and small. She is also very responsible, and goes above and beyond for animals. For example, if I ask her to simply check on a pet, she will spend hours playing with the cat/dog in addition to providing food, water, and exercise.

I live in an apartment building so I won’t be able to bring pets to me, but I do have 2 cats and have walked my family dog for years. I don’t mind exploring your neighborhood or local park for a walk!

How does the dog do with other dogs they encounter? Does the dog startle easily or try to bolt? How well do they walk on a leash? Has the dog ever bitten anyone?
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood, a local park, and playing with toys. We can either run or walk. I will always clean up after your pet. Let me know what treats are ok to use! I don’t have a dog so my focus will always be on yours. I also do not let strangers come up and pet any dog to prevent fright or accidents.

Availability
I am flexible, I do work full-time daylight hours. I’m a nurse, and I work from 8am-430pm. I’m usually home by 530pm. I’m free for evening and/or weekend drop-ins and walks.
