I have been doing dog & cat sitting for family members & friends for years. Never been a part of an organization but I am wanting to be a part of one now. I am very reliable, warm, patient, & know animals are family members. I am really hoping to help ease your mind & know your animal/s are being taken care of while you are away. I live in North Natomas area & would love to help people in my community but also willing to travel to surrounding communities. I am married & have two boys in the home that are 15 & 17. We have 3 cats that are named Ginger, Nami, & Milo. We just added our newest member to our family. His name is Oliver. He is a rescue 11 month old Pomeranian & Shih Tzu mix puppy. We waited until our boys were older before we got a dog. We felt they could be a bigger part of the responsibilities that come along with having a dog. I previously worked for the Dept. of Social Services & for Child Protective Services before that. My husband is a Social Worker for Child Protective Services. My older son has had some health issues the past couple of years which has made it difficult to work a 9-5 job. That is why I came to Rover.com. It would allow me more flexibility & I enjoy animals. I have a large 2013 Honda Pilot which would make transportation easier if needed. I hope you & your furry family members can be a part of this new chapter in my life. Thank you!
