sweet paw pals just fur you!

Pet care experience

I come from a huge family of animal lovers, so my love for animals only grew with me over the years. Since I was a kid, I’ve cared for different kinds of animals, either my own, family’s, friends’ or otherwise! I’ve cared for a few birds, different reptiles and dogs, and even bunnies. I’ve also cared for plenty of young and elderly pets, so I’m aware of the many needs both may have. I fell further in love with pet sitting during my earlier years of college. My roommate had gotten a puppy that she struggled to keep watch of, due to her busy schedule, so I offered to help care for her. I watched her most day and nights while she either went to class or work. I grew such an attachment that we still have play dates. Daily contact and updates! I love to give my pet parents daily updates on how their pals are doing and/or how their overall day is going, I also love to include pictures of them. This offers full communication and trust for my pet parents. I want to ensure everyone is comfortable and stress free, knowing they’re leaving their sweetheart(s) with me. Therefore, I welcome and encourage any questions or concerns you may have for me!

We love having Kirsty stay. She is super attentive to our senior dog and provides detailed updates. We felt our dog was well cared for while we were away. She also left the house immaculate and cleaned before heading out!

Once again, Kristy came through for us! She took special care with our “old man” Luca and attended to his needs and quirks with patience and affection. We returned home to our house that she had obviously conscientiously taken care of for us. Luca was happy to see us but I think he missed Kristy!! Thank you, Kristy - we had a relaxing trip knowing you were taking care of Luca and the house!

Kristy was great to our senior poodle, Beau. He got great care, was never alone, and got to spend time with her sweet pups. We loved the frequent updates as well!

Safety, trust & environment

My Home I live with my very helpful family, there’s my parents and my two brothers, who are 15 and 11 years old. Like me, they all love spending time with the dogs. If I need to, I can always rely on their help. Conveniently, my parents were dog sitters themselves, now they just enjoy helping me out with my own clients. Our backyard isn’t a big one, but it is fenced. It’s definitely efficient for small to medium sized dogs to enjoy a day outside in our yard, as neighboring cats often do. We have two small dogs who are all bark, but very friendly, they're great company your pet(s) can enjoy their day(s) with! Our pets (including yours), are free to safely roam the house and backyard, as our backdoors are usually ajar for them to do so during the day and evenings (unless raining). Makes potty breaks a breeze! They’re also free to enjoy our comfy furniture: the chairs, couches, and/or beds. We have many other bedding areas made specially for them as well. You’re also free to bring their own bed or bedding, if they’re more comfortable with their own. We have easily accessible food and water bowls upstairs and downstairs of our home at all times (please provide the proper amount of food/medications for the duration of their stay). My family and I aim to create and maintain a loving and safe environment for your pet(s); to ensure that they’re comfortable and feel as at home as possible. Your Home I am a well kept sitter, I like to stay and keep clean, especially in others’ homes. The health and safety of your pet and home are my first priorities. I like to ask permission (if not given already) to do or have access to anything in your home to ensure you know your homes privacy is important to me.

Information Kristy S. would like to know about your pet

Do your pets get along with others? Do they have any potty training? Do they have any type of special needs? Do they have a specific schedule (maybe a food or medication schedule)? What do they like to play (with)? Does your pet have any specific enjoyments? Please let me know if your pet has any allergies, medications, and/or any specific diet (restrictions) that are important for their health and overall well-being.

A typical day

Our neighborhood is great for short and/or long walks, there’s even a park close by, which is less than a five minute walk away. The time and duration of our walks usually depend on how our day is looking: what the weather is like or what activities we’ve might’ve done and/or had planned for that day. Sometime, during the day, I like to water and tend to the plants around our home, they usually like spending that time with me in some way. We have playtime everywhere, everyday, either at the park or in the backyard. We tend to have play time inside, too. My pets enjoy doing a lot of different things throughout the day, like: going for car rides, walks, or the park, cuddling on the couch, (oddly enough) watching tv, taking a nap, enjoying their space, invading others’ spaces, sitting outside in the sun, and/or just hanging out inside. Everyday is a little different from the day before, but no matter the activity, we’re always doing it together.

My Schedule I attend virtual/online based classes, so I mostly spend my days at home. If not me, then my dad and/or mom are usually here with the dogs. It should be a smooth transition for everyone to add your sweet pea(s) to our day to day routines. My open schedule and flexibility, along with the support of my family members, makes it easy not only for you, but to accommodate any specific need(s)/routine(s) your pet(s) may need or have structured for them.
