Pet care experience
I've been caring for my dog coco for 13 years and my dog Chloe for 6. I've trained dogs at petsmart for 2 years teaching puppy and intermediate training classes. I have been working at a veterinary clinic as a assistant/technician for 3 years. I am great with giving oral/topical medications or insulin. I am great with special needs dogs. I could assist in helping with potty and leash training along with basic commands. I could give baths, brush out and can clip nails (depending on dog). I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am however allergic to pit bull and boxer fur. Animals have been my passion since I was 5 years old. I could not imagine a day without dog kisses and wagging tails!

I have worked with Kristy at Las Palmas Pet Clinic for 2 years now. She has showed compassion for all the animals that walk in the door. She goes up and beyond for the animals and makes sure they are taking care of from start to finish. Our owners leave with a smile on their face because Kristy has taken the time to educate them about animal care and husbandry. She's fun to work with and the love she has for animals shows every day at work!
Who is Kristy Romero? My answer: she's Jane Goodall in paw print nurse scrubs. Kristy has so much passion for animals and it shows when she's around them. Helping animals has been her mission since she graduated from high school and it's been her career ever since. I actually met Kristy when she was a pet trainer at Pet smart (with a very high success rate). Since then, I've come to know how loving and caring she is of all animals and how she's adopted three pets and helped turned their lives around. Now, she spends her time as a seasoned vet clinic technician with expertise in working with all kind of animals. If you're looking for someone to create a rave about Rover, look no further.
