Pawsitively Reliable Pet Sitting
Pet care experience
I've cared for dogs in some form or fashion for most of my life. I was also a dog trainer for five years in my early twenties. I've always had a way with dogs; they seem to gravitate towards my energy because I tend to have a calm and kind demeanor.
Reviews
Kristy was really great. She was friendly and wonderful with the dogs. She took very good care of our girls. I totally recommend her her..
Kristy took Mullein for a great walk, and was such a joy to communicate with! Highly recommend!
Kristy has been great with our two large golden retrievers - both for day visits and overnights. She has great energy, is great to chat and communicate with, and takes really really good care of our girls. The dogs mean so much to us so it’s a HUGE comfort to know Kristy is with them when we aren’t able to be due to work or travel. Can’t recommend Kristy enough.
Kristy was an amazing house sitter. She cared for all 3 of my very different dogs, including a very high energy 1 year old puppy. I absolutely recommend Kristy and would love to use her again.

Safety, trust & environment
Caring for pets in or out your own home involves several important considerations: * Safety First: Ensure the environment is safe and all precautions are used to protect your pet and myself.
 * Regular Feeding Schedule: Stick to a regular feeding schedule based on the pet's dietary needs. Provide fresh water and monitor their eating habits.
 * Exercise and Playtime: Engage in regular play sessions and exercise to keep pets physically and mentally stimulated. This is especially important for dogs who need daily walks.
 * Health: Administer any necessary medications as directed by the owner or veterinarian.
 * Vet Visits: Stay informed about the pet's medical history and schedule regular vet check-ups. Be prepared to handle any emergencies and have contact information for the pet's veterinarian readily available.
 * Communication with Owners: Maintain open communication with pet owners. Provide updates on their pet's well-being, share pictures, and inform them of any concerns.
 * Respect for Preferences: Follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and any specific pet preferences.
 * Emergency Preparedness: Be aware of emergency procedures, such as knowing the location of the nearest vet clinic and having a list of emergency contacts.
 * Security Measures: Ensure the security of the home, including proper locking of doors and windows, to prevent any accidental escapes or unwanted access.
It’s important to remember that every pet is unique, so adapting my care approach to the individual needs and preferences of the pet is key.

Availability
I am currently going to grad school to become a therapist, and I am also in practicum, so I have a pretty open schedule when not with clients. I have most weekends open so I can do overnights or last-minute drop-ins/walks.
