Pet care experience
I adopted a cat when no one else would. He's a former street cat, and we walk in a leash as much as weather allows. My sister has two bunnies, and my family had numerous dogs, hamsters, fish, cats, etc., growing up. It was never boring. :) I recently bought cat and dog toys for pets, in which the situation was less than ideal. They were so happy, every time I made time just for play.

For my cat, I leave dry food out for him, and give him wet food about twice a day. I always make sure he is safe, as I would with anyone else's pet. I am cautious at first, in order to allow each animal to get to know me first. I make sure to remain patient and calm. If you are out of town, there should be two drop ins for dogs, minimum, unless someone else will be checking in, on the dog(s)

Schedule requirements, who to contact in case of an emergency. Special food and water schedules, temperaments, and medication needs. Things I might need to be weary of or prepare for, in advance. Anything that is pertinent information in order to provide pets with the best care, possible. Communication is absolutely essential!!!
A typical day
I love parks and forest preserves. Anywhere your pet is safe and can roam a little would be great for both of us. Dog parks in the area, walking paths, etc. I brought a cat wand to one home to make sure the cats got some energy out, also taking time for to sit with them and give them attention.

Availability
I love owners who are flexible as I am working a full and part time job at the moment. I am available most weekends and evenings and would be able to pop in during any of those times to check on your pet. I work 830 to 5, M-F, and am unavailable during those times. I love pets of all kind, feel the experience between them and myself is a completely symbiotic one, and I think they are extremely rewarding. I cannot stress enough that if you're requesting drop in visits, there should be a couple bookings per day. Walking a dog one every 24 hours isn't an option. If that is the case, please have a neighbor or family member available for a second visit. If you intend to book for recurring visits, there will have to be a payment on file and will need to be rebooked each week (there have been issues in the past in which I wasn't paid). I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
