Hi there - I'm Kristine, and I'm excited to be a part of the pet-loving community in Naples. Having grown up with pets my entire life, I understand the joy and love they bring to our lives. Since moving back to Naples, I've enjoyed filling my free time caring for my cat, dog and other furry friends as well. I've been a pet owner my whole life. I grew up with many dogs here in Naples of all shapes and sizes (Great Dane, Husky, Daschunds, Beagle - my family really loves dogs!) As a result, I'm comfortable and confident in handling dogs of different energy levels, diets, and routines. I believe in accommodating each pet's individual needs and preferences to ensure they're happy and comfortable under my care. While many are simply a dog or cat person, I'm a bit of both! I adopted a Siamese mix two years ago and have been a semi-converted cat person ever since.

Kristine was an exceptional pet sitter for our dog, Frankie. She consistently sent us updates with pictures and videos, ensuring we knew Frankie was happy and well-cared for. Her commitment to his exercise and enjoyment was evident, as she took him on numerous walks. It's rare to find someone who treats your pet as their own, but Kristine does exactly that. Kristine is terrifically kind and attentive. Most importantly our Blue was happy, exercised and well fed when we returned. He had even had a snuggle nap! Very thankful, will surely reserve again.

When I care for pets in your home, my approach is centered around creating a comfortable and familiar environment for your furry companion. Whether it's a brief visit, overnight stay, or extended care, I prioritize your pet's well-being and happiness. During my visits, I like to adhere to your pet's regular routines as closely as possible. This includes feeding times, exercise routines, and playtime activities that they are accustomed to. I believe that maintaining consistency helps reduce stress and anxiety for your pet while you're away. Communication is key for me - happy to send texts and photos so you can be updated to how you pet is doing while you're away.

I like to keep a routine - please let me know what schedule your pet keeps (food, walks, etc.) and I'll do my best to keep it the same. If you pet has any special needs or anxiety/triggers (especially for walks), I like to know those ahead of time as well.
A typical day
I'm happy to match whatever energy your pup has. When the Florida weather is cooperating, I love to go on long walks around the neighborhood or play a game a fetch in the yard!
