I am a 48 year old, single woman who lives in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 3 year old boxer mix named Whinnie. Making sure that Whinnie has the play, exercise, and love that she needs is priority for me. I had a dog for 13 years prior to Whinnie, so am definitely a "dog person" - I have treated my girls like my family, my children, my best friends. I would love to sit for your dog, to invite him/her into our, mine and Whinnie's, home, so they could have a great companion while you are away (Whinnie is a lot of fun and knows how to share - she goes to camp, to the dog park, and hangs out with the neighbors' dogs, so she is well socialized), and so that I, who am very responsible and also likes to be active, can take good care of them, give them the exercise they need, and love on them as I know they will also need in your absence. I work from home so will be around them all day :) In addition, both of the my dogs (present and passed) have had sensitivities to foods, so I am very respectful of what your dog's special needs, if there are any, might be. He/she will be in good hands :) I do require that your dog be able to be crated while I am not home for their safety and b/c I live in a rental, and that, as far as you know, they won't bark throughout the day.
