I enjoy the uniqueness of each animal I work with, listening to what their needs are and supporting them with presence and kind attention. I'm interested in how you are training and working with your dog and will support this training throughout our time together. I welcome learning new things! I grew up with a dog, cats, horses, ducks and a pet rat- who was quite smart and learned to open his cage door at night, climb up the bed and get under the covers with me! A few years ago a tiny Chihuahua came into my life and she was quite a different creature from any dog I had ever had or known. I learned a lot from her, how she would navigate the world and take care of herself, express her joy and communicate her needs. Currently I don't have a dog, so it is wonderful to get to know the ones that come into my care! Drop in Visits Includes feeding, walking and play time, litter box maintenance, medication administration, turning on and rotating lights, bringing in the mail, taking out trash and watering plants. Besides dogs, I also love caring for cats, horses, fish, and just about any critter who you might have in your household. I have experience giving medications, can care for large and small dogs, senior dogs, as well as dogs who need more exercise and long walks/runs--we can go to McIntosh lake or Rabbit Mountain; if they are mostly interested in sniffing, we'll stick to the neighborhood around where you live or maybe go on a loop at Golden Ponds or any local park.
