Pet care experience
I love all kinds of animals!! I grew up caring for my family dog and dog sitting for friends, and have decided to work professionally with Rover. I currently have 4 rabbits, and 2 parrots, an African Grey, and a Cockatoo. I foster for a local rabbit rescue also. I am married and I have an 8 year old daughter who loves animals as much as I do. I have my Vet Tech degree, and previously worked as an ICU/Wards Nurse at Univ of Penn. While working as a Veterinary Nurse I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, (seniors, shy, and fearful dogs). I am able to administer injectable medications, and have experience with numerous medical issues. I will love and treat your dog as if it were my own while they are with me. I customize my care to the needs of you and your dog, please message me with any questions! I am happy to take your pup out and about with me as much as is appropriate. BOARDING INFO: -If you have an exotic pet ( parrot, rabbit, chinchilla etc.). I would happily have them board here. I just require for parrots test results from your Veterinarian that they do not have PDD. - Please note that for the safety and comfort of my pets, AND your dog(s) I ALWAYS require a meet and greet before boarding. - I do not board dogs with a history of aggression - dogs must be fully vaccinated for rabies and distemper/parvo -I require puppies to be crate trained. During the week stays I do leave the house for a period of anywhere from 1-3hrs, so puppy would have to be crated during this time while unsupervised. -Please bathe, or have your dog bathed before their stay with me. Since I do allow pets on furniture/bed, I do not want my furniture to smell of dog. If your pup upon arrival smells like a dog, I will not take them, or will require an extra fee at the time of drop off, for me to bathe them.

I am always so happy to bring Hawk to stay with Kristine and her family. They take such great care of him- regular walks, lots of attention, even making him his own special toy! They keep me updated with regular photos and it is clear he enjoys staying with them. It is great to have people I can fully trust to take excellent care of my dog.
It was our first time having Kristine watch Kuma and she was wonderful. We received lots of pictures which i absolutely love getting , they went out on tons of walks and she made Kuma the cutest little bow for her collar. Kuma can sometimes be touchy with which dogs she does and doesn't like so knowing that Kristine only watching one dog at a time was worth the money. We will definitely be using Kristine in the future : )
Kristine did a wonderful job watching our dog providing plenty of updates and even making a bow for her collar! Highly recommend booking as long as it's not a weekend where we are out of town!
Kristine along with her daughter, Ava, and her husband, Brian, was extremely kind, loving and caring toward our dog, Grace, who has terminal cancer. Additionally, she is highly dependable, skilled and trustworthy. Kristine was wonderful with communications. She sent many texts, pictures and videos. During Grace's stay, Kristine provided her with a level of care that was amazing. Kristine followed a schedule that included a special diet, and supplements. She also dispensed medications. Kristine is an extensively trained and degreed vet tech so when she noticed that something was off with Grace, she communicated it to me and we were then able to get a medication for her (which Kristine picked up!). When Grace wasn't eating much, she also communicated that to me and then went to the store and got something that Grace would eat. I really can't say enough about the care Kristine provided. Our family feels very fortunate to have found her. Her care for our dog, Grace, simply put was outstanding. She really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Kristine to care for your pet.

I prefer to learn as much as I can about a dog's temperament, quirks and normal routine before booking any services. I require any health or behavioral concerns be disclosed beforehand so that I am able to provide the best care possible. I am happy to go over these topics with you during a meet and greet. I have plenty of experience with reactive dogs, dogs who aren't so sure about strangers, have special needs, etc. but in order to provide the best care I need to understand the extent of the issue. Some of my favorite walking buddies are not "perfect" dogs and I have no problem with that!
A typical day
I have an SUV and I am able to transport dogs to dog parks or to a dog friendly trail if fitting. In addition to lots of love and attention, I can provide daily exercise catered to your dogs' needs. I frequently walk and exercise, so you can expect options like a walk/run around our neighborhood and local parks. For my less energetic pups we might stroll around the block or go for a ride.
