Pet care experience
I have worked in animal control and with the SPCA. I have owned dogs and cats and other small mammals for over 30 years. I love all kinds of animals and always have them around. I rescue and care for anything I find on the street hoping to find the owner or a forever home if the owner cannot be found. I am loving and trustworthy. Your pet will love me and my family! I have 2 kids that know how to treat animals. My pets get along with any new faces and will love to meet your babies if they stay in my home. Your pet will be treated as one of my family while they are in my care and they will get all the love they are used to while you are away. As I always have several visitors, I am unable to offer meet and greets in my home. If your dog is not comfortable around new dogs, then this is not the place for them as I constantly have pets coming and going.

Kristine was awesome in taking care of our 6-month-old pup. Initially, we were worried as thats the first time we left the pup in a sitter's home. But she cleared all our worries with regular updates and the pics. And my pup also enjoyed the stay there. So happy for selecting Kristine for our pup.

Kristine was wonderful to our fur baby. Our boarding with her went way longer than expected and she was more than accommodating and super awesome to deal with. Would 10/10 board with her again.
We were a little apprehensive leaving our baby… but within seconds of being at the house, Koda felt at home. We loved the picture updates daily. Koda definitely loved her and his “vacation” away!! Thank you!!

I have worked with all breeds and I do not have any restrictions other than your dog must be comfortable around other dogs and children or you have to be comfortable with them being in their own room while staying here (with their own playtime of course. I currently have 2 dogs. I am used to pulling and jumping and it's not a problem for me with my SPCA experience. I have experience with leash training as well. I also have 2 children (8&10 currently) who are used to being around pets and know how to treat them. If you have a dog that does not like children or other dogs this isn't the house for you.
A typical day
Walks are about taking care of business but also about exercise for your pet. I go at the dogs pace until everything is taken care of and then try to burn some energy. If you prefer them just to go out in your yard we can play fetch or whatever the dog likes to do.

Availability
I work from home so I am here most of the time. I love pets and hanging out with them is my purpose in life. As I always have several visitors, I am unable to offer meet and greets in my home. My drop in/dog walking/drop off/Pick up hours run from 8am-10pm. If you are leaving before 8am, your pet must be dropped up the day before. If you cannot pick up by 10pm then they must stay until the next day.
