Pet care experience
From cats to lizards to birds and dogs, I've had them all! I've grown up in a cat and dog-friendly home since the beginning of time and have even pursued animal care in my career. I worked for a bird breeding program at the San Diego Zoo and have also previously worked with Elephants, Big (and small) Cats and birds in various zoos around the world. Pet care runs through my blood and I love each and every animal just the same, whether it be wildlife or our furry pals at home :) My animal care career and lifestyle have given me patience and nurture that will make your pet feel right at home as well as receive all the snuggles they deserve! I have experience in bathing cats and dogs as well as giving meds when necessary. I don't have a pet of my own at the moment because of my living situation but I will treat your baby as if it is my own.

She did a wonderful job with my pup, who is usually very apprehensive of new people and a bit of a guard dog. Kristina was not able to meet my dog prior to house sitting, but was able to calm my dog down and relax together. Very thankful for Kristina being able to connect with my dog and watch her for the night!
Kristina is a sweet and caring dog sitter. I felt completely comfortable with her both taking care of our Maltipoo, but also staying in our home. I highly recommend Kristina.
Kristina was absolutely amazing taking care of my dog for over a month when I was away. She has been working and taking care of animals practically since we were 5 years old. She’s worked in a couple of zoos taking care of animals as her passion is zoology. She is the most relatable to animals person to animals that I have ever seen the connection is immediate.
Kristina is extremely responsible person and she has a very good contact with animals. She helped our family taking care of two German shepherds and two cats. This involved pet sitting, waiting, and taking animals to vet appointments. Kristina managed her duties very well. I highly recommend her for any job involving animal care.

A typical day
San Diego is dog-walking central and there's always a beautiful spot to find if your high-energy pup needs to be taken on a few walks! I'll happily do laps around the neighborhood or go to the dog park if that's needed. I also love to play with all animals and will happily entertain your baby at home with their favorite toys and games.

Availability
I live in Ocean Beach and can locally drop by and see your furry friends before 8AM or after 4PM on weekdays :) House stays are usually limited to weekends for me, but I can be flexible on a case-by-case basis when necessary!
