Pet care experience
I was recently laid off from my 5 year job within the fintech industry. It was a complete surprise and has taken a heavy toll on my life. As I continue to navigate today's current job market, I knew I needed to divulge myself into healthy habits while having all of this extra free time on my hands. After all, I may never have this free time back and might as well enjoy it! They say once you enter your late twenties that you either became a sour dough baker or a marathon runner; I have chosen the latter. With my love for running increasing, I also started going on daily 3 mile walks with my beloved wiener dog, Milly. Milly is my soul mate. She is sunshine and everything good in my life. She's the wind beneath my wings!! One day I know that her absence will absolutely obliterate my life. So today, and every day while being unemployed, I've decided that I am the luckiest girl on the planet to be able to spend my day with my best friend walking and running with two healthy legs. I know that there are many people out there working tirelessly long hours to afford today's grossly over-priced livings costs and I understand how it feels to work a long shift only to come home to remember that your dog needs you too. That while you were gone they waited all day for some love and playtime. I'd be absolutely honored to use my free time to make sure all the pets in the tri-state area can feel loved while you work to support them. I have experience with cats and dogs, high-energy to low, from reactive to nonchalant. From tiny chihuahuas to 90lb german shepherds. I promise to love yours the way I love mine.

Kristina is extremely caring, responsible and will treat your pets as if they were her own. She always goes above and beyond while at the same time following all the instructions to the T. She’s very punctual and has a lot of knowledge about animals in general so knows what to do and what not to do already. I have and will always trust her with watching my pets and I know they will be loved and cared for.

Given that I feel like I basically birthed my dog, this is pretty much her house and her world. We're just living in it! She has a bed in every room, every floor, and in both cars. My partner and I take her comfort and safety very seriously lol. She is a dachshund so we do our best to ensure that she doesn't jump off and onto surfaces like the couch or bed. We feed her and our cats fresh food only, we have many stimulating toys for them, and we do lots of regular training and exercise. In your home, I would do the same. I know what it's like to love my own and I will do everything in my power to love on yours the way you wish me too. If your dog wants to sit and watch squirrels on the tv for 3 hours, I'll tune in with them. If your dog wants to play fetch all day, I'm ready! If you have a cat that wants to bake biscuits, I'll sit still until my bones ache. I'm up for the job!

Please let me know if you have a reactive pet. I know that some kitties are not fond of strangers and while I always do my best to read body language - I like to know what I am walking into. If you have a reactive dog, what are some of their triggers? What can I do to help bond with your anxious pets? At the end of the day, I want to create my own trusting relationship with your pet so that they do not feel unsafe or uneasy around me. I want them to trust me so that I can trust them and I can offer the best care possible so that you do not have to worry!
A typical day
I go on plenty walks around the area and know some of the best sniff spots! I personally love doing stimulating activities with my pets and will do the same with yours such as puzzle treats, lick mats, hide and seek, etc. I'll make sure to play with their favorite toys, bird watch, exercise them, and simply cuddle them so we can create our own trusting bond.

My day mainly consists of caring for and spending time with my own three pets(one dachshund, two cats). I am extremely flexible with time and days currently.
