Pet care experience
I'm a farm girl from Idaho, grew up surrounded by all sorts of animals. My best friends were my two dogs, and I've had a huge soft spot for all animals my whole life. In my free time you can find me at pet adoptions, adventuring, and meditating. I think having a grounded energy around animals is very important - helps with keeping them calm and grounded too. I'm the go-to girl for all pet sitting in my circle of friends - no really I am. One day I want to have a small animal rescue farm, close to the city where people can come visit and adopt animals in an open air /free range space. Kristina was so warm and loving with our huge monster dogs! She was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, and definitely put our minds at ease while on vacation. Our dogs instantly loved her, and I think she's just a wonderful person! I highly recommend her.
Kristina must be a dog whisperer. My dog loves her! He swoons when she comes to get him.:). Some people are born to be with animals--and Kristina is one of them. She is the kindest soul, and so clearly loves animals. She's found her calling and so lucky to have found her. Buddy-the dog loves her so much ...and I do too. What a find!
Kristina is a trust worthy person who loves animals and connects with them. She has taken care of my Harley for over a decade and he can't get enough of her. Kristina is the perfect person you want taking care of your beloved pet while you are away. She really IS an animal person. She watches my two standard poodles with the same affection I would give them myself! The love, the praise AND the strength. And not only does she watch, my two standard poodles, she has taken care of every pet I have owned for the past 10 years. This includes two current tortoises. A 100 lb Sulcata and a 3 lb CA desert tortoise. The difference is VAST, and she does it with ease. A 27 year old parrot, who didn't like people but LOVED Kristina! A tarantula, and some fish. She is comfortable with animals and I have never seen a dog not LOVE this woman. She knows how to speak to them in a way that makes THEM feel comfortable. And that makes me comfortable when I am not there to care for them. I have trusted her with every animal I have had the pleasure of owning, and that will never change!

What are their social behaviors, do they get along with other dogs? How are they with cats/squirrels/children? Do they have a walking routine? What is their diet, how often do you feed them, is there a set time schedule for feeding? Special commands? Are they a rescue, and any back story you might have on their life before they got so lucky and found you? How long have you had them? Do they have any current health conditions that I need to know about? How often will they poop? Are there any other dogs in the neighborhood I need to keep an eye on? Do they like to eat everything off the ground they can find? lol Do they have any nervous habits that I might bring up red flags (reddening of the skin, itching, ect.)? The more information the better. :)
A typical day
Your animals happiness, and safety is my first priority. Also, I'm a very active person, love hiking, doggie parks, and throwing the ball for your pooches, or maybe they just need a bit more TLC.
