Pet care experience
Hi my name is Kristina, I grew up in the southwest having rescue dog's and cat's as part of our family. Since I can remember my family and I always had an open heart to any type of animal. We always took in strays or we adopted because we knew pets deserved a second chance. I adopted a German Shepard/ Golden Retriever mix that was 2 at the time in November 14, 2017 from Southern Paws. I have watched her over the years coming out of her shell and being more trusting with me. I can say my heart is always filled with paw prints and wet kisses from the animals we loved. So my goal becoming part of this company is to get dogs outside more and smell the world around them. Dogs are more happy when they are healthy and that will be a plus for your vet visit. So as a fur mom myself I know how protective you are over your fur babies and want the best fit for them. I want to let you know I'm very patient and I am a certified belly rubber, treat giver, dog walker. I also have experience working at a dog daycare caring for 20 dogs at a time. During that time I worked with large and small breeds, learned how to break up dog fights, and basic dog body language. Can't wait to meeting and spoiling your fur babies! Thank you, Kristina L.
Reviews
Kristina was so patient with my pup and so flexible with the dates we needed during our trip. She came to meet him days before walking him, learned all his cues/commands, and made an immediate connection with our pup. We were so happy our boy got some good walks during our time away.
Couldn’t be more impressed!! My babies were all tuckered out when I got home from playing and really enjoying their time with Kristina.
Kristina did a drop in visit for my special needs pup Lola and I could not be happier! She took such great care of her, and I love how she took the time to get to know Lola and ask questions about her! I was so worried about finding someone I could trust to care for my baby but she did not disappoint! Lola is already excited about next time! Thank you so much Kristina!
Kristina puts people and animals first. She always is ahead of the game, one time, and always has the care of the dog at heart. She is incredibly responsible, respectful, and caring. With my own dogs, she takes there care into her hands and worries about them. I highly recommend her for any Rover jobs as she really can not do wrong. She will treat your dogs as family and watch them like they are her own. Love Kristina and there are not enough words to describe how amazing of a person and lover of animals she is.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not care for pets in my home unless it's a small caged critter like a bird or hamster. Will not care for a dog or cat because my dog is not friendly with other dogs or cats.
Information Kristina L. would like to know about your pet
When I first meet a pet, I need to know if they are okay meeting new people and welcome others in their space. Knowing this will allow me to be prepared to know what I need to do to adjust accordingly. I always want to meet the pet with you around so they know I'm an okay human.
A typical day
I usually try and find a close park near by that we can run around and maybe play fetch. If not, we stay in the area away from the busy areas to walk. If we are working on new tricks or training words we will be working that in our walks or sittings. I also can provide enrichment to mentally stimulate their senses. I have snuffle mats and puzzles to keep them busy if the weather is poor.
