Pet care experience
Hi there! I have many years of experience caring for pets, and will ensure your furry loved-one feels right at home during their stay with me. I am a proud dog mom of 4 year old Jax (very healthy, neutred, updated on all vaccinations) who loves other friendly dogs and would be so happy to have a buddy or two to hang out and play with! We have a small/medium sized, partially fenced-in yard for playing around with the ball or any game your pup enjoys. We go on walks, at least one during the day, and one in the evening. Our neighborhood is quiet and has a on-leash dog-friendly park nearby. If you are ok with me bringing your pup, great! If not, I totally understand and will not bring your pup to parks. Please let me know in advance if your pup has any special needs (behaviour, allergies, medical, physical etc.)

Can’t say enough good things about Kristina! I always feel reassured when our Whiskey stays for a visit. Kristina is kind, friendly and super knowledgeable. Whiskey and Jax have the best of time! Jax is a smart, playful, happy and fun dog!

Kristina was great with Zaya! She sent lots of updates and pictures and I could feel she is a good and loving person as Zaya was quite happy to go back in our second day care! Kristina was amazing, very communicative and flexible. Zaya and her dog Jax got along really well too so that was a bonus! I recommend her and for sure will book it again, thanks Kristina 😁
Kristina is wonderful. Upon our arrival, she had a basket with Whiskey’s name and put all his belongings in there. I thought that was a very organized and thoughtful. She was knowledgeable and patient when introducing the dogs. Kristina sent photos after we left. Whiskey met some good friends and was all smiles which was great to see! I received updates, and photos in the morning. Her dog Jax is a sweetie, and Whiskey just adores playing with him. Kristina, thank you for taking such good care of Whiskey. I am a very patient and calm person, and my home reflects that. It is of utmost importance to me that your furry loved one feels safe, comfortable and cared for during their stay with me. I do not use a crate with my pup simply because he doesn't like it, so I do not have one in my home. If your pup needs one, just bring it along and I will be happy to set it up for them. Also, rest assured your pup will never be left in my home alone. I have extra dog beds , bowls and toys - bring your pup's favorite if you would like. If you use a favorite treat to encourage and reward your pup, please bring those for them. I do have treats here I use with Jax and he is always willing to share so just let me know what your preferences are (treats or no treats).

Let me know in advance if your pup has any special needs ( behaviour, allergies, medical, physical etc.) Between my very responsibile teenaged daughter and I, we can easily manage dogs with different energy levels and personalities. However, we cannot accept any dogs who are very reactive, destructive or aggressive.
A typical day
Lots of playtime in the back yard! Daily walks and snuggle time on the couch. Indoor playtime on rainy days (we still go out for at least one walk even if its raining). My Jax is pretty energetic and likes to play with friends, however he is very intuitive and is great with senior dogs and smaller dogs with less energy and adjusts his energy levels really well. I can easily manage dogs with different energy levels and personalities to provide more play or more rest time, according to your pup's needs.

Availability
I work from home mon-fri so I am always present and provide lots of attention, tlc and playtime to your pup(s) during their stay. At least one walk during the day and one in the evening. If your pup is on a schedule of anykind, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am happy to do my very best to accommodate and keep things as routine as possible for your pup.
