Energetic dog walker getting back at it! I took a break from dogsitting for a year, but I still can't have pups in my own home and I miss them too much, so I have lots of love to give to yours! I have grown up around large dogs and love being outside, rain or shine. Whether your dog is quiet and shy or eager and energetic, I can handle what your dog needs. I can't host your dog in my home, but I will be very respectful in your home. I will ask you how often you like updates (and pictures!) so that you can enjoy your time away while knowing what your pup is up to at home.

We are so lucky to have found Kristina! She stayed at our house with our two pups: a 17 year old mix and a 1 year old Goldendoodle - not an easy assignment! The dogs were instantly comfortable with her and she provided updates and pictures which let us know our pups were in the best hands. The house was immaculate and looked untouched when we returned. Could not recommend her more!
Kristina is extremely responsible and 100 committed to our dogs. I love that she helps train our obstinate puppy and is always so positive and communicative.
Kristina did an excellent job caring for our animals. She kept a good eye on our cats (who don't always like strangers), and kept our young dog engaged with plenty of exercise and playtime despite a lot of rain! We will definitely book Kristina again.
Kristina was so great with our little 10 week old puppy. She clearly knows what she’s doing with puppies and sent us tons of updates through the weekend. I will definitely be reaching out to re-book Kristina if we need a sitter in the future!

In order to build a strong relationship with you and your dog, I will schedule a meet and greet to get to know your dog, your home, and their routine.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs (medications or illnesses), any behaviors (social, fearful, aggressive/defensive), and any training or exercise regimen so that I can plan to maintain their usual schedule while you’re gone.
A typical day
I love to go for long walks, trail runs, or dog park visits. If your dog is friendly and is used to and loves the dog park, I will ask to shadow you and your dog on a visit to the dog park during our meet and greet to understand how your pup behaves around other dogs. If your dog likes their space, we’ll keep our walks to more quiet neighborhoods and trails. I will keep to your dog's usual routine in terms of length and frequency of walks.

Availability
I have a flexible work schedule. I go into the office 1-2 days a week now in St. Paul, but can work around your pets needs. I can accommodate potty breaks, exercise, and socializing (if applicable) throughout the day.
