Pet care experience
New to Rover but not new to Pet Care! My entire career has been as a professional animal care specialist. I am a professional Canine Massage Therapist with a focus on Injury Rehabilitation. With over 20 years of experience as a pet owner, farm manager, dog sitter and Canine Massage Therapist, I bring experience, knowledge and LOVE to Dog Boarding and Day Care.

Kristina Wium is an outstanding, highly skilled, intuitive and loving animal caregiver, trainer and communicator. I have known her for many years and can attest to this without question, having witnessed her with her own animals, with other people's animals and as a client for help with challenging situations with my own animals. She really listens to and notices the animals needs as well as the animal's people companions. She will provide great care for your dog. You can completely trust that.
I knew Kristina when we both lived on the island of Kauai. She house and pet sat for me several times and did a great job. She loves all animals and has a great empathy for them. My dog was always very happy to see her. Kristina is trustworthy, caring and responsible. I give her my highest recommendation.

Our home is in the South Hills with a large fully fenced (6' tall cedar privacy fence) yard. We have access to all the trails in the neighborhood, close proximity to Blue Mountain, Inez Trail and all Missoula has to offer. As avid runners and walkers, we love spending our time walking all the trails Missoula has to offer with our dog and yours! If your dog is more of the quiet type, that's ok too. We have a cozy, pet friendly home and they are more than welcome to snuggle up in bed for the day. You can go away knowing your dog is being cared for and loved as we love our own dog, Rosie! And... they will have her wonderful company as well!

Our number one priority is your dog's safety and fun! If your dog has any special needs at all, we want to know! If they have anxiety around noises, certain dogs, or anything at all, we want to know! We also want to be sure your dog(s) will get along with our dog Rosie. We will always schedule a meet and greet prior to any stay.
A typical day
As an active household, we love taking the pups for long walks or runs. We love catering our walks to those pups who stay with us. Some of our favorite hikes are Rattlesnake, Waterworks, Blue Mountain, Pattee Canyon, Kim Williams and Inez to name a few. If your dog loves to chase a ball or frisbee, we got you covered! We love going to Playfair or Fort Missoula. Of course we also have a wonderful, fully fenced yard and little trails around our home.

Availability
We are available 7 days a week! My husband and I work from home. I work out of my home office as a Canine Massage Therapist. We are always available to take care of your pet, go for walks and give them lots of snuggles and love.
