I know firsthand the importance of finding a good dog-sitter. My family relied for a long time on a traditional dog-boarding service, but then the service closed for good just as my family was preparing for a long vacation. So they chose a pet-sitter they said, and loved the level of care their dog received, including on how she was doing. More importantly, our furry little girl didn’t spend the whole day cooped up in a crate. Now that I own my own home and have no restrictions on what type of dogs I can keep, I want to provide that same level of comfort to other dogs and their owners. We have a steady flow of traffic in my house. I share my home with my sister, Melissa, who will occasionally help watch the dogs. My parents visit often with their 9-year-old golden retriever, Maggie. Also, my boyfriend will come around with his 4-year-old female German Shepherd, Schatzi. Our house may be busy, but the neighborhood is quiet and dog-friendly. There’s a park about a 10-minute walk from our house—the whole way there is safe and low-traffic. I also have a large, fenced-in yard that I’m about to expand, giving your dog even more room to run and play. I love playing with dogs and believe they're just like children and need attention and affection. I work from home, so I will get to spend the entire day with your furry friend.
