Pet care experience
I have taken care of a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, frogs, reptiles, fish, and rodents. I have owned a cat, dog, hamster, and gecko myself so I have experience cleaning cages and going on walks. I know how to get creative to get pets to take their medications as well which we all know can be a struggle. I have been the go to person to care for friends and family members pets.

KristÃn has taken care of my cats for me on numerous occasions, and I always know that they are in great hands with her. She even managed to earn the trust and right to pet my very skittish rescue the first time they met. Any pet with KristÃn will be given fantastic attention and care.
Kristin did an amazing job with our senior cat. She came over frequently over the week to check in on him and gave him extra attention. I really appreciated her sending photos throughout her time taking care of our cat. My cat can often be whiney when we leave and Kristin made sure that he did not hurt himself. I really appreciate Kristin and the extra mile she went taking care of my cat. I will definitely hire her again in the future.

Safety is important for pets and caregivers. I ensure that before I leave all pets who live in cages and tanks will be ensured they are in their proper places. If there are pets in the house that need to stay away from each other such as a cat and a hamster, I make sure that the vulnerable pet is always out of reach of the larger pet. Any objects that could be dangerous for pets to consume will be out of reach of all pets at all times. I make sure that all doors are locked and back yards are secured before leaving the pet alone for the day to ensure they don't get out and that no one else is able to get into your home.

Knowing if the dog is friendly of other dogs or if they're afraid of them or aggressive with other dogs. Any special considerations about your pet would be appreciated ahead of time.
A typical day
Does your dog like the water? I do too! I would love to take your dog to the park, a beach, or just for a nice walk around the neighborhood. I'm a very active person which makes me a good match for your active pup.

Availability
I am currently in graduate school so my schedule is highly variable depending on what is going on week by week. In many classes attendance is not required so I have some flexibility in my schedule to accommodate the day to day routine of your pet.
