Your local fun loving dog lady

Pet care experience

I have always grown up with dogs through the lifespan and been around them all my life. Comfortable with giving medications and have trained all my dogs in potty schedule, general commands and leash training. For senior/low energy dogs I also have a senior dog friend for them and strollers for them to be included in any adventures! Booking your lovable friend with me means lots of doggy play time, naps, an outing or 2, plus food/snacks. I share loads of videos and pictures so you don't miss them too much and rest assured they're having a good time and being well loved 😀

Kristen made Lola feel right at home. Kristen is very patient and Lola is warming up to her as Lola can be skittish at times. I can say that Lola and I have found our perfect pet sitter in Kristen!

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a spacious home with a fenced back yard so the pups can play and toilet with ease. I have 3 friendly pups big and small so your furry friend has a playmate, but can be kept separate if needed. I also put my pups that sleep in crates/kennels for bedtime. I have a medical background as a nurse, so I'm comfortable doing any wound care for any post op pups, oral/injection administration, or first aid if needed. Along with having pups of all ages (senior to puppies), I have toys and gadgets to make sure that your fur friend stays safe and engaged. This includes: ramps, mental stimulation toys/games, and in general safety accommodations.

Information Kristin S. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about your pups temperment, aggression, interactions with dogs and humans (esp men), housebroken-ness, leash walk-ability, dog park capability, food intake and schedule, car rides, sleep set up, and vaccine status. Let me know if there are any special needs that your dog requires that I need to account for (i.e. medications, physical limitations, special food intake, etc) I recommend if they are spending the night that they have something that reminds them of home to feel more comfortable. This can be a piece of clothing that smells like home, or their bed. I would advise against a toy, unless they are going to be sleeping in their crate, so as to protect it from destruction.

A typical day

I love to engage your dogs mentally and physically through games and activity. This would be playing with me and my furbabies, exploring the smells in my neighborhood and going to a large park. Afterwards they typically wind down for a nap to rest up for their second wave of playtime.

I currently attend school online full time and am home majority of the time. My husband also works from home and equally loves dogs as much as I do- so your furbabies will always have supervision and care. I also have my own pups who I regularly take on walks and outings, so I am happy to bring your furbabies out on the town with them! They do occasionally go on car rides with me for a coffee run or to smell the roses at the garden center :)
