I have had pets my entire life - both cats and dogs. I have experience caring for them through all life stages from puppies and kittens through their senior years. I have experience with small and large dogs - have owned 2 German Shepherds. Every pet is different and it's important to me to understand and attend to their unique needs. Friends trust me to care for their pets when they are away and I communicate with them to provide updates and let them know everything is ok. I would love the opportunity to help care for yours as well!

Kristin was available last minute to come and walk my very active pup! She was on time, easy to communicate with and my dog came back nice and tired. Kristin also sent some great pics. Will definitely use her again!

When caring for a new pet, the information I would like to know about them includes: - Their personality and how comfortable they are meeting new people - Do they have any behavior issues I should be aware of? - What is their daily routine (eating, treats, play and exercise, etc.) - For dogs, do they get along well with other dogs? - Any areas they are not allowed to go - For puppies or kittens, are there specific training methods you use that work best for them? - The dog's/cat's health and who to contact in case of emergency
A typical day
Exercise for dogs is important to me and I'm open to any form of exercise for your dog - walking, playing fetch, playing with dog toys, etc. I really like to engage with dogs by talking to them and praising them when they've done something good. Cats need playtime too so I'm open to any activities your cat enjoys!

Availability
I work from home, but my availability will primarily be on the weekends Friday - Sunday. I may be available occasionally during the week depending on my work schedule.
