Pet care experience
I've just moved down from Alaska where I've done a lot of pet sitting for my friends and coworkers and am looking forward to pet sitting for you! I really enjoy going out for walks to stay fit, but going on walks with dogs way more fun. I am very responsible and have often taken care of my brothers dogs. I currently don't have any pets of my own so my place is a great place for dogs who might be a little fussy with other furry friends. I also have a fenced backyard with grass for extra play time. I have lots of experience with taking care of small puppies to large labs. I have a very flexible schedule to help facilitate your needs. I also have great communications skills to keep you informed when you are away from your pup.

Hands down the best possible experience for my first time using Rover! Kristin is a fantastic sitter and person. After meeting her I had no doubt my Dog Louie was in good hands and he was. She kept me updated on the stay which was comforting. She took Louie to the park and even sent me a photo showing me how much he enjoyed it. I've already started recommending her to my friends. Louie and I are looking forward to contacting Kristin again in the future!
I have known Kristin as a co-worker and friend for several years. She is a very responsible, trustworthy, and caring person. I have trusted Kristin to watch my beloved 7 year old cat on several occasions when I was out of town. Kristin did an excellent job taking care of my cat. I always encourage a meet-up between your dog and I so that we can get familiar with each other since we'll be hanging out together most of the time. I would like to know if your dog has any special conditions, behavior issues, or medications so that the stay goes smoothly and we both have a fun experience. I would also like to be informed on small but important things like does your dog have a favorite toys, treat, tennis-ball obsession?
A typical day
Your dog and I will probably be spending most of the day together. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule to drop everything and go out when the weather is beautiful. Your doggo will enjoy nice walks around the Garden District Neighborhood and nearby parks. At home, I have a nice open and gated backyard for plenty of running around and playing fetch (if he/she is into that). If the weather is too hot we can hang out inside where it is nice and cool.
