I've grown up with dogs my whole life--big and small! From my beloved Toby the bichon frise I got for my 2nd birthday, to Annie the pointer, roxz my min-pin for 17 years, and now Frankie--the English pointer rescue that's been with us for 6 years. I've loved them all! I also know how hard it is to leave them when you go away. I found Rover.com after my baby Frankie looked so run down after a week long stay at one of the top boarding facilities. I found a great home for him my next out of town trip and he came back looking healthy and fit instead of frazzled and stressed. If you're looking for a similar fun, stress-free, home-away-from-home for your fur-baby look no further. Our house in Plymouth has a huge fenced-in yard with so much room to run. We have a fully fenced in pool in case your pup likes to swim (but leave it locked for safety) are right in front of the Luce line trail--a great place for daily walks and I also frequently take dogs to Fish Lake Regional trail. I am home with my 2 year old son (who LOVES dogs) most days during the week so your pup will get lots of potty breaks and outdoor time. I do ask that your dog be potty trained (though I know accidents happen) and OK with children. I require a pre-stay visit to my home so I can meet your dog and discuss all of his or her routines and favorite things. Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile. Kristin did a really great job watching my dog. I had to leave suddenly for a week with only 48 hours notice and she was flexible enough to watch my senior dog (14+) with very little notice. In addition, as a senior lab (large breed) he has hip and vision problems and needs extra care. She did a great job with taking care of those needs and keeping me in the loop with texts on how he was doing. I would recommend her services for anyone that needs that little extra care for their dogs due to age or special needs.
Kristin was FANTASTIC! If I could rate her higher than 5 stars, I would. We found this adorable and sweet family late the night before we left for an early morning trip. We panicked when all boarding facilities were booked, and discovered Rover.com and Kristin, and will definitely consider her as our first choice for pet care in the future. Her home is beautiful, clean, and well adapted for pets. Our dog loved playing with her dog (and toddler), running in their big fenced backyard, going for walks and following her around the house :) He even got table scraps (with our permission) and couch access. She spoiled him and our family. We got lots of pictures and our dog got lots of attention. He was even invited to be the special guest at her book club gathering. We LOVED this experience and greatly appreciate that she only takes one dog at a time. Winston misses Frankie already ;)
