Hello there! My name is Kristin. I am 29 years old and eager to make animal care taking my life's work. Nothing makes my soul happier than a furry companion. I have had dogs in my life since high school, but have only been a primary caretaker of a dog for a little over a year. My experience is low, but my attitude, meticulousness, compassion, and eagerness overcome that. My parents have 2 10+ year old Yorkies that we've raised since they were puppies. My husband and I rescued our girl Rose about a year ago when she was about 8 weeks old. That being said, raising a puppy is still very fresh in my mind! I would love to help take care of any dog, young or old, big or small, lazy or energetic. They're all puppies to me. We also have a cat so I am experienced with kitty care too! I am a very tall girl (6'1) and am an active individual (running and kickboxing). Large dogs won't be an issue for me, that's for sure! I have been in the service industry for over a decade now. Working in restaurants really took its tole on me, so I decided to leave my previous industry and find something that makes me happy. Having recently quit my job, I'm looking to fill my time playing with and caring for animals. My dream is to be able to make animal care taking a full time job. Nothing would make me happier than to be surrounded by animals all day long. What's better than a happy wagging tail?!
