Pet care experience
•• I’m always open to price negotiations of my set rates with any prospective client•• I grew up in a houseful of [all kinds of] dogs throughout my entire childhood. I cannot have my own dog per my current lease agreement for my residence, so I’m always eager to get in my “dog fixes” at any possible opportunity! I absolutely adore kitty cats as well. I totally understand them & their personalities & strangeness and I can confidently treat them with the respect they deserve. I’m okay with being a “fill in” for clients whose usual walkers are unavailable for any amount of time. I typically send over approx 1 million pics and videos to the parent because I just can’t help myself, and I like to be able to show their parents all that we did during the visit. **For prospective new clients** A prior Meet & Greet with the pet owner, animal, and myself is strongly preferred before initial bookings*

Kristin has taken care of our pets (two dogs and a rabbit) every time we leave town for a few days. She does a great job and our pets really love her. She spends a lot of time with them, such as taking walks (the dogs) and also playing with them for hours. Kristin loves animals and the animals can sense that right a way. They always get excited when she walks into the house because they know she's going to take care of them. I high recommend Kristin as a caregiver for pets.

I am an animal lover of all kinds (EXCEPT JELLYFISH) and comfortable around all types of dogs, whether they’re big or small, high-energy, or super chill! Usually dogs & cats can tell I’m an animal person right away. Our family had a cockatiel when I was a kid/teenager and I understand how to read/provide for domesticated birds as well. I’ve taken care of iguanas and other reptiles. Basically I love animals and would be happy to assist with other types of creatures. [[EXCEPT JELLYFISH]]

I would love to know their command words, such as what treats & toys are called etc. Also if they have any “pet peeves” or if there are any situations/animals/objects that give them angst.
A typical day
I love making new relationships with dogs and having fun with them with their favorite things (toys, cuddles, walks, conversations, games.) Knowing that every dog’s personality is unique, I always treat them with the attention, expectations, and respect that makes them happiest. My current pup clients all have their own routines which I conform to, and honor their parents’ preferences for their care during the duration of our visits. Some love going for long walks on safe streets & neighborhoods and others prefer to spend time together in the comfort of their own home/yard. They bring me a lot of joy and are therapeutic for me and I’m grateful to spend time with them in whichever manner they prefer. I’ll always make sure they get the the full 30 minutes per visit and often when I have time I’ll hang out with them even longer. I observe their behaviors and if I notice they seem off or unhappy I let their parent’s know right away, even if it turns out to be a false alarm. They’ll always get a fresh bowl of water and as many pettins and affection that they desire!

Availability
A few of my pups are booked regularly each week with an indefinite end time. But I am eager to take on last minute requests whether it’s for a weekly arrangement or a one time visit. {Meet & Greets are essential I believe for the pet, the owner, and myself. And I can make time to do this beforehand at any time that works best for the parents.} I always look forward to hanging out with fur babies and going for walks, or just spending time together playing, cuddling, and chatting, and I think they do too! I am nearly always available to cover last minute requests including stopping by for feeding times etc. I can honor set weekly bookings for anyone who’s looking for a weekly arrangement! •I’m happy to offer cat care as well!•
