Urgent care veterinary nurse :)
Pet care experience
Hi! I am an urgent care veterinary technician / assistant with a passion for providing exceptional pet care. With 4 years of professional experience in the veterinary field, I have background in emergency and critical care, as well as general practice. My concentration for my bachelor's degree was animal health and behavior, so a significant portion of my education involved pet care/health. As someone who is working in the veterinary field and is constantly exposed to animals in all kinds of conditions, I understand the importance of providing a safe and comfortable environment for pets while their owners are away. With a focus on maintaining the health and well-being of each pet, I am dedicated to ensuring that all pets receive the individualized attention they need to thrive.
Reviews
My pets have a great experience with Kristin as you can tell from the pictures that sent by Christin. I am sure I will book again with Christin for my next trip. Thanks again Christin
Kristin is the best. She took great care of my two kittens. If I ever go out of town again, I would definitely use her. She is the best!!!!
Kristen is awesome! I’ve been pretty nervous hiring a rover sitter because my one dog has a lot of health issues and isn’t the easiest situation. Kristen is a pro! I feel so comfortable having her watching my babies and recommend her 100%!
Kristin is always on time and takes good care of my Luca during his walks. She always sends me pictures. Thank you Kristin.

Safety, trust & environment
**Under my care, dogs will never be off leash while on walks, and pets from different owners/households will not be introduced or kept together (regardless of disposition). As an emergency vet staff, I’ve seen pets come in because of situations that were easily preventable, and would not want that to happen to anybody’s pet! ** No matter where, I prioritize the pet's safety and well-being through several steps: 1. Create a safe space that is free of any hazards or items that could be harmful. 2. Supervise pets closely at all times and watch attentively for any signs of distress or discomfort. 3. Make sure my home is secure and that pets can't escape or get into any areas that could be dangerous. 4. Meet the pet and owner first to get to know the pet's behavior and routine, as well as any special instructions or requirements. 5. Consistently decontaminate the environment to help prevent the spread of any viral or bacterial infections between pets.

I care for animals daily! I work full-time at an urgent care for dogs and cats, while my free days are spent doing chores, exercising, and spending quality time with my own pets. I will occasionally dog or cat sit for friends/family. I usually try to find new activities or toys each week to provide enrichment for my pets and keep them stress-free.
