Pet care experience
I’m the go-to friend when pet-care of all kinds is needed. I’m an animal lover at heart. I can accommodate special needs or medical needs with proper instruction, as well as dogs that require high levels of physical activity. I have cared for birds, fish, turtles, cats, and dogs. I also have my own French Bulldog that is a mix of chill and playful. He’s great with other dogs and loves having playmates over or along for adventures.

Kristin was so wonderful while staying with Fitz! It was comforting knowing he was in good hands. She made sure he went on adventures and sent so many cute pictures while we were away. She always kept us in the loop and made sure Fitz was taken care of!
Kristin was excellent. She was responsive, flexible, and Gus came home happy. She cared for him as if he was her pup. If she will have Gus back again, we most definitely will book her again. Her pup was super sweet and a perfect playmate.
Kristin was fantastic! Very accommodating and sweet with our dog. Communicated well and kept us updated how our puppy was doing. She has a darling dog of her own that was playful and social with ours as well. Will definitely use her again if she’s willing! ❤️
We have known and trusted Kristin with our home and most precious dog for over 6 years. Every time we start planning a trip out of town- Kristin is the first person we call. If she is available to stay with our dog and watch our house, then we can proceed with our travel plans. Kristin is great at communicating before, during and after our trips. When we are gone, she sends videos of our dog having much more fun than he usually does with us. Kristin’s dog is the most well-behaved Frenchie you have ever met and is now our dog’s best friend. Kristin loves to take both dogs on hikes, to dog friendly cafés, and to outdoor concerts. If something unusual happens with the house or packages show up, she always lets us know immediately. And the best part- we come home to a spotless house and a happy dog. If you are feeling nervous about leaving your home or pup with a stranger-get to know Kristin, then you will be leaving them with a trusted friend!

Dogs are always on leash with me on walks unless we’re at an off leash dog park. My dog is my family, so when there’s another dog that I determine is a good fit for staying with us, that dog is part of our pack while we’re together. I don’t share people food with my dog or the animals I care for. I live in a dog-friendly apartment complex with a fenced in courtyard. I do not allow my dog or guest dogs in the courtyard unattended. I know it’s hard to be away from your fur baby, and I’m happy to send plenty of photo pupdates via text if you’d like.

Because I’m in a dog-friendly apartment complex, I prefer to accept clients with dogs that aren’t big barkers. I have my own dog and there are lots of other dogs in my complex, so your dog needs to be ok with other dogs. Are you comfortable with your dog off leash at a dog park, and how well does your dog respond to the command, “come?” Neither are dealbreakers, only things I want to be sure to know.
A typical day
I work from home full time M-F during the day, and potty breaks are given throughout the day when I have breaks at work. The party starts when I’m off the clock in the afternoon! I am off early enough for a dog friendly hike a couple of days a week, or at minimum, we go for a daily walk or to the dog park if we can’t squeeze a hike in. Weekends also include fun outside activities with pup cups from Dutch Bro’s on the way home. While we are routinely active, we can slow things down for dogs that need it. My frenchie and I love snuggling on the couch while bingeing a good show or reading a good book just as much as we enjoy outdoor adventures.

Availability
I am child-free and work from home, so your pet will get as much attention and affection as they need. I work full time and am most active with my animals when pet sitting after I get done with work in the mid to late afternoon, but I have the availability to accommodate needs for early am activity before my work day starts, if necessary. My weekends are a balance of snuggling with my dog while bingeing on a good show and enjoying all the dog friendly outdoor spaces the area has to offer us.
