Hi my name is Kris and I log on 4 to 6 miles daily walking in our Middleton neighborhood. I live just off the Pheasant Branch Conservancy and walk there daily. If we have lots of snow, I wear snowshoes. No excuses, I had a Husky named Colonel and he wouldn’t except them 🐕 We met lots of our neighbors on our walks because everybody wanted to stop and meet Colonel! They knew his name but not mine lol. One day at work a FedEx driver stopped by and said “Hey! Your Colonel’s Mom!” Yes my dog was a bit of a local celeb ;) I’ve always been and animal lover and have 40+ years of experience with horses, dogs and one guinea pig (who knew you could fall in love with a guinea pig?) over the years. Speaking of horses, I had an American Saddlebred named Beau and we competed in upper level horse shows for many years. My most memorable day was placing 6th in the Best of Show class. Wow what an accomplishment for me:) I’ve been fortunate to have and learn about animals of many shapes, sizes and ages. I’ve learned a lot about senior care in the past year. I still love walking in the conservancy and I’m not ready for a new dog. I would love to share my walk and experience with your dog.
