Hi, I’ve had at least one dog my entire adult life, beginning sophomore year of college. I love dogs, including small, not-so-small, and the maligned breeds (pitties, for example).

Kristin and Jenny were the best. I was very nervous about leaving our dogs for the first time. One of the dogs is very anxious but Kristin helped put him at ease. She walked them daily, gave daily updates and was very kind and understanding and totally put me at ease. I could see a progression in the daily pictures she sent of the dogs and how they were at ease and having fun! Thank you Kristin for taking such great care of our dogs. We were very happy to discover Kristin as a great caretaker for our Oliver. We know he had a great time. Kristin kept us updated daily which was most appreciated.
Kristin was wonderful! So attentive to our dog Lumen and easy to communicate with. She sent tons of photos and exercised him so much. Will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

I have a 6’ privacy fence and a sizable yard. The gate has a padlock on the inside. I do not leave dogs outside when I’m away from home. I have exterior and an interior camera. Nothing much in my house is sacred, I like to treat dogs as part of the family. However, if you don’t want your pet on the furniture, that’s manageable too!

A typical day
We have lots of walking options in and around my neighborhood, including Wynetka Ponds, Bow Mar, the Platte River Trail and the Mary Carter Greenway Trail. We typically walk, then play in the yard, relax a bit, and play some more. I have lots of toys and enrichment activities (snuffle mat, puzzle toys, wobbly toys, kongs).

Availability
I currently work from home and am home a lot. Jenny and I walk everyday, between 2-4 miles and she’s used to having friends along for the journey.
