Pet care experience
I had two dogs for 16 years and love hanging out with four legged besties!! I am great with dogs of all intelligence levels (I spent 14 years keeping up with a brilliant/opinionated cattle dog) and experience with sight impaired and partially paralyzed dogs so patient with pets that need a little extra love! Lots of experience with senior dogs since one of my girls lived to be 18 years old! While I am not quite ready to get my own pet again yet, I miss having a dog (or cat!) around and can’t wait to hang out and spoil your furbaby!! We can play in the yard, walk on the nearby beach and cuddle on the couch!!

Kristin was amazing with our dog Hickory. She is an older rescue dog with some anxiety in new situations with new people and they were so attentive to her needs and made her feel right at home. I'm pretty sure Hickory would have preferred to stay with them than come home. She had so much fun walking and playing. Their house is very comfortable and has a backyard. They live near a rail trail and the beach, both great for doggie exercising and good sniffing! Kristin made sure to send us updates with photos and videos and confirming that Hickory had her medication in the evenings. We were so appreciative of that! Thank you Kristin!
Kristin has watched our miniature dachshund many times over the years starting when he was a young-ish puppy to full grown adult. She also works from home more often than not, which is an added bonus. She is good at maintaining order while giving lots of love and cuddles. In addition to our dog, she cared for her own two adult/elderly dogs as well, ensuring everyone got their share of her attention. Her two sweet ladies were very well loved before they both passed away at age 14 and 18. Auntie Kris Kris is the best!
Kristin had two dogs for over 15 years each, if that is not a testament in itself, I don't know what is. Additionally, she has helped me care for my cat when I am away from the house. She is super communicative with texts and photo updates. I have no worries when she is watching Ragnar and knowing that he will not only be fed and cared for but she will take the time to make sure that he has some snuggies and love. I would trust her with any of my pets.

I have a partially fenced in yard in a very dog friendly suburban neighborhood. Potty breaks are easy whenever needed and longer walks a few times a day. The yard means we can play games or go to the beach! Typically used to feeding pets twice a day but happy to accommodate their usual schedule and experience giving medicines as necessary!

A typical day
I love to go for walks (and runs if the doggie is interested!) and play in the back yard or at the beach down the street. I’m also great at tug and down for good couch cuddles after we are all played out!

Availability
I am in a field based position so largely work from home and when I do need to venture out, it is not more than a couple hours at a time! On the weekends, I live near the ocean and enjoy running so we can go on all kinds of adventures or hang out on the couch watching movies!
