Pet care experience
Pet Care Professional in the Springfield area. Always looking to expand my pet care knowledge and experience. Your pets safety and happiness are of utmost importance to me. Available for daily walks and drop in visits. Lots of experience with special needs dogs, including one pup with epilepsy and another who was incontinent and had to be put into diapers and a harness to hold them up. Pet first aid and CPR certified through the Red Cross. If your pet needs basic medications in your absence, rest easy in knowing that I can administer for you. (Sorry, I don't give medications requiring a shot. That is the one thing that kept me from becoming a Vet Tech many years ago.) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, I am more than happy to answer and look forward to meeting your fur-babies!

We always use Kristin to take care of our pets when we have to be out of town. She has taken wonderful care of many of our fur babies including several with special needs. Her love of animals is always evident and appreciated!

When in my home, I have a fenced backyard with a big tree that is ideal for squirrel watching. Our dog, Charlie Troubles is friendly and loves to play once he gets to know new friends. When in your home, the safety of your pets is top priority.

Any special needs your pup may have is requested. I also find it helpful to know of any favorite toys, treats, or hiding places. When going for walks, it is also helpful to know if your pupnis reactive or fearful of any situations or people/pets.
A typical day
When going for walks we can either stay in your neighborhood or we can go explore a local park. During home visits, I feel that it is important to engage your pup in play to help with any boredom they may be experiencing in your absence.

I am currently walking and watching pets full time and have the flexibility to accommodate last minute requests. I have open availability on weekends as well as during the work week.
