Kristin is awesome! First off, our baby, Lucy Loo really and truly loves her. When I tell her she’s going to get to stay with Kristen and Apollo, she gets excited and doesn’t even look back when I drop her off. I really and truly appreciate Kristin’s willingness to keep me up on how things are going. She sends lots of pictures and lets me know the highlights when something fun happens. And she responds immediately when I reach out. On a trip out of the country, Kristen was so great about keeping us updated, even texting live with me, sharing hilarious pictures and stories. Kristin loves animals and is a dedicated sitter. She’s even taught us some things that have made a difference for our dog. Kristen is the one thing we know we don’t have to worry about when go out of town. Lucy Loo is loved and very well cared for! Thank you Kristin!
Kristin is knowleageable about dogs, reliable, kind, and considerate. She is always organized and responsive. I'm pretty much convinced my dog likes her more than me because he is always so excited to go to her house for a sleepover!
Kristin is the best! She has patience with my active retriever puppy and always shows her a good time. She’s exhausted after a visit with Kristin. Our older lap dog also goes with Kristin and while the dogs are quite different, she manages them both to their own individual needs. Thank you! More importantly, Kristin is reliable and follows through with her commitments. She treats my dogs as if they were her own. I adore her.

I ask pup owners various questions before your pup stays with me about feeding, medications and house rules(example: if your pup isn’t allowed on the furniture in your home they won’t be allowed on the furniture at mine, as I like to keep as close of a routine for your pup in my home that you have at yours). I have bedding, food dishes, and toys your pup can use while with me but I do encourage you to pack your pups favorite items or anything of familiarity that would make your pup feel more comfortable during their stay. For drop offs and pick ups I can be flexible on a meeting spot if you aren’t able to drop off/pick up at my home but communication is key Feeding: I can feed your pup how ever often you do at home rather it’s once a day, twice a day, three times or even four times a day. I also feed your pup whatever you bring. If your pup is on a fresh food or raw diet I can accommodate that. I do not have food to provide your pup and ask that you provide your pups own food and also ask that you please only bring the amount of food your dog will eat during their stay with me🐾 Outdoor/potty breaks: Your pup will get ample outside/play time in my fenced back yard. I also use stimulation toys for your pup to enjoy like kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats and puzzle toys. If your pup is staying with me for over 4 days I can also take them on a nature walk(depending on weather) at my other property 10 min down the road but only if you ask🐾 Medications: I can give medications but only pill/tablet or capsule medications. I can also give your pup any supplements you do at home. Bed time: your pup can either sleep with me in my room on a dog bed, my bed or be put in one of my large kennels at night for bed time. I know how much owners love their pups and miss them while they are away so I send daily pictures or updates so that owners can have peace of mind and see their pups while they are away🐾

Please let me know any important information I need to know about your pup. Like medical(health, allergies, recent surgeries, or past injuries, etc.), behaviors(eats things they shouldn’t, toy aggression, food aggression, etc.), or special needs your pup might have. I don’t have any preferences on breeds as I’ve worked with many breed sizes ranging from chihuahuas to neapolitan mastiffs. I can take unspayed females but I won’t be able to take them if they are in heat. I find it important to be fully informed on your dogs behaviors and needs so when your pup stays with me they can have best and safest experience while you are way.
A typical day
There are a lot of different forms of simulation for dogs. I not only do physical stimulation but mental stimulation as well. You pup will enjoy play time outside, nature walks on request, the use of frozen kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats and puzzle toys. I fill my kongs and lick mats with either pumpkin, plain greek yogurt, or peanut butter. And with the snuffle mats and puzzle toys I either use your pups own kibble or treats approved for their pup by the owner.

Availability
I’m able to take pups who are over 4 months of age and have completed their puppy boosters on Bordetella, DHPP, and Rabies. Having your pup up to date on these vaccines is important to me not only for the safety of my dogs but also yours. I only take pups who are well socialized and are good with cats and dogs as I have my own pets at home. I have two cats, a German Shepherd(service animal), and a Aussie/Red Heller mix. I’ve worked with animals for over 5+ years and I’m currently working at a doggy daycare, boarding and grooming center. As I have 2 high energy dogs of my own your pup will become part of their schedule/routine.
