I would give Kristin zero stars if the app would let me. Don’t trust her. Three days after our dogs stay, our dog showed Kennel Cough symptoms, we believe he caught it from one of the Kristin’s dogs (yes, she has two, not just one as her profile indicates). We let the her know and she said to see how he does over the weekend. Being the weekend, we couldn’t get in to see the vet until Monday who confirmed that he had a mild case of KC. We let Kristin know as soon as we got the diagnosis as we had a scheduled visit for Tuesday (6/22/2021). Kristin agreed to a reschedule date moving the visit out about a month to 7/21/2021. I tried to modify the visit in Rover but was unable to, it indicated that the sitter needed to make the modification. I let Kristin know and it appeared that she did the reschedule based on the message traffic, unfortunately I found out later that she failed to reschedule. The original visit date has now come and gone but I don’t see the rescheduled date in Rover even though I already paid for it. Kristin is not ghosting us and in addition, has canceled our additional booking as well without explanation, leaving us scrambling for vacation coverage. Kristin owes us a refund of the $38.85 for the date she didn’t reschedule.

Kristen was excellent. This was an “interesting” match. Neither I nor Kristen knew what to expect. I am “hosting” my son’s dog for a while, but she and I didn’t know each other well. I did not know how she got along with people or dogs, especially after a year of pandemic isolation. I had to go to a funeral, and Kristen agreed to sit for the day. It was immediately apparent how much she loves dogs and they loved her. Though “my” dog was apparently apathetic to other dogs, she still seemed to have had a good day.
