Big Heart For All Sized Animals
Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Kristin! I started doing Rover in 2019 part time when I was in college and ever since I've found an even larger love for animals. After leaving college I had a year and a half gap with Rover and I worked at a doggy daycare, gaining a lot of experience that I'm able to bring to my Rover sittings; giving medications, handling senior dogs and cats, handling anxious pets, CPR training, being able to remember over 100 dogs triggers/quirks, and just the bonds I was able to make with all of them. 💛 Now, since August 2021, I am lucky to have Rover as my full time job; offering boarding in your home with a commute as far as 25 miles, and up to 6 dog walks and drop in's a day for any and all animals you may have.
Reviews
Kristin is amazing! She house sat for us for a week with our very high energy and crazy dog. We came home to a happy dog who clearly got lots of attention while we were out. We are so thankful for Kristin and the wonderful job she does for us!
Kristin was amazing with our big boy Brando We previously had had such a terrible experience but she erased it from our memories!!!
Kristen did an amazing job. Our dog, Daisy, is a rescue and is super sweet, but she does require extra attention. Daisy was happy when we got home and I could tell she was well taken care of. Our cats were very happy too! We will be rebooking with Kristen when we go on vacation this summer.
Kristin was really easy to work and super helpful with our pup. She did a great job communicating before and during her visits - send lots of photos and made us feel really comfortable having her in our home. Will definitely be booking again. Thanks!

Safety, trust & environment
I know that trust is a big thing and want to make sure you, the owners, feel at ease and relaxed while you are away. I send two/three updates with pictures (sometimes videos) a day to let you know what/how your pets have been doing; if they are eating normally and using the bathroom regularly, their behavior, energy levels, etc. I'm also happy to help with any small tasks around the house that your pets can't do while you're away 😆: bringing in your mail/packages, watering your plants, taking down your trash cans, etc.
Information Kristin D. would like to know about your pet
• what a day to day looks like for your pet • energy level • how many walks per day & how they behave during them - if you have two or more dogs do you walk them together? • sleeping habits • medications • if your pet is reactive, i.e. leash/food/animal reactive
A typical day
A day all depends on your type of dog! If your dog enjoys play time I can take them to a dog park near by, if allowed, or go on a long walk or hike. If your dog isn't very active that okay too, I would enjoy being able to just snuggle with your pup
Services

Availability
Your pets are my number one priority during my time with them and since I do Rover full time I try to revolve my schedule around your pets so their routines don't have to change. I will occasionally have dog walks or drop ins to go to but if your pets have scheduled feeding times, walk times, or medication times I will make sure to be exact with those.
