Pet care experience
hi there, my name is kristin and my biggest passion is animals. my overall goal is to one day open my own animal rescue. currently me and my boyfriend nick have a 2 year old yorkie mix named nessie, and an 8 month old puppy named peach! they are our whole world! my love for dogs started with my parents, they always kept 5 or more animals, and then when I became old enough I got Nessie as an ESA to have as my own. I do have experience with oral medication in both dogs, and I am a certified pharmacy technician so I happen to know a lot about medication! :) if you choose to keep your dog with us, they will get lots of snuggles and be in safe hands! If you aren’t wanting your dog to come to us, 15-20 pounds is the max and they must be friendly to cats and dogs. If I am dog walking, or doing drop in visits, any weight and temperament I am fine with!

We have a huge backyard surrounded by three fields. We do not have a fence, but if your dog is prone to be a runner I will walk them plenty! We always sit outside to watch the dogs, they will not be left alone. 75% percent of the time our dogs use the pee pads inside (they are picky and prefer there), but we also take our dogs outside about 2 to 3 times daily give them the option to potty there as well. I do not crate my dogs, they sleep in bed with us. If you do prefer your dog to be crated I do have a small crate or you can bring your own! We do have one older cat named Gladys, she does her own thing and doesn’t really bother anyone. She likes to be outside most of the time.

I know each animal has their own quirks and I would like to be well prepared! I would prefer to know ahead of time if they are going to be crated or sleep in bed with us, if they have a food schedule, a current routine, or any everyday medication!
A typical day
I have multiple bins of toys, I definitely have them covered! We have a very big yard, connected to a family farm where their are several fields, so that is where we usually hang out. Along with our property, we go on lots of rides around. Our dogs have a dedicated bed and seat in the truck!

Availability
As of now, I am at home full time and can work with any schedule! The only time the dogs would be left is if I needed to run somewhere, like the store. We ride our dogs around a lot, and would happily include your baby too!
