I enjoy spending time with your beloved pets! I have 20 years’ experience with overnight pet-sitting, and 5 years of dog walking experience. I love all types of dogs, and especially enjoy working with seniors. I am available for overnight pet-sitting, daytime, and evening walks. I pride myself on respecting clients’ privacy, and keeping their homes as tidy as I found them. I am always happy to check-in for text updates to let you know how your pets are doing. Kristin Blakey was our dog and house sitter for 18 years (two dogs). We completely trust her and over those 18 years and many, many, many weeks living in our home, everything went smoothly and the dogs were cared for beautifully. Both dogs loved her - she really has a special gift with animals. Our next door neighbors also use her to house and dog sit and are equally pleased and I have been able to observe her working for them so I can affirm that she is responsible and trustworthy.
As our dog was in her twilight years, Kristin was willing to shower her with love and affection. This was rather courageous, since our poor old dog panted constantly while having horrible-smelling breath. Kristin looked beyond the surface and saw a sweet old dog who deserved respect and kindness. In addition to her way with animals, she also takes wonderful photographs that seem to capture our pets’ personalities. We highly recommend Kristin!
Kristin is by far my first choice when I need a dog sitter. I have used her services on several occasions, the last one for a period of three weeks. During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with me on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the dogs and house behind.
