Pet care experience
Our family loves animals! We have experience with all types of dogs — we’ve owned a French bulldog, Rottweiler mix, and our current dog is a border collie mix. My kids and I have volunteered with rescue organizations for the past 6 years. We have had fosters (and foster fails) and love them all. We treat our pets as family. Any dog that stays with us will get plenty of walks, play time in our large fenced yard, and lots of cuddles. I’m a stay at home mom and love taking the dogs on local hikes. My kids are very active and love being outside with animals. We also love having the dogs relax lazily on a bed inside as we do homework/housework etc. We have a large fenced yard giving the dogs plenty of space to roam. We have a fun 1 year old border collie mix that loves to play, but also loves to chill out and cuddle with new dogs. We also have plenty of indoor space for the dogs to explore.

This was our first time using Rover.com and we are so excited to share our experience. Our Collie, Winnie, is 9 months old and had an instant best friend with their dog, Ruben. Their yard was fenced and spacious with plenty of space to play and an excellent park near by for outings. She had an amazing stay with Kristin ,Adam and her 2 daughters. They were very patient and loving with her. The entire family went above and beyond in their care for Winnie. Kristin shared photos and updates everyday to put us at ease while we were away. We would absolutely recommend them for your next get away when you have to leave your special furry friend at home!
Ezra loves Kristin and Adam (and especially Ruben!). I received updates and pictures daily. Ezra was so happy the whole time she was there and came back exhausted from all the fun! Best dog sitter she has ever had.
I’ll make this short and sweet. Our pup Wilson had such a great time, with Kristen and her family (and their pup Ruben), that he was kinda sad when he came back! We are so relieved Wilson found a safe, welcoming, loving home for when we are not around. Kristen sent tons of pics and it was very clear to me he was thrilled to be there. Thanks again!
So what I'd really like to say is that they were terrible so no one else would use them and I could always book my dog but, to be honest, they were awesome! They met us on arrival with two very cute and friendly daughters who assured me that my shy dog would have a great time with them. Then Adam immediately took Mica out for a run. Then introduced her to their young pup. Then another walk, etc. Then when she came home, she was exhausted, which is how I know she had a good day. We will use them again in the future, if we can book them.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. We all have a lot of special need experience as our previous dog was a rescue rottie mix with a lot of special qualities. Also need to know their daily schedule, sleeping requirements, medication needs etc.
A typical day
We follow whatever schedule you have in place with your dog to make the transition as easy as possible. We love to take dogs for hikes and have trail access right down the street. The kids also love going on walks to one of the 4 local playgrounds and the dogs are always happy to accompany us and sniff, sniff, sniff. My husband and I are both runners and are happy to include your dog (if that's an activity the he/she is accustomed to) on a run! We love to play fetch in our fenced in backyard. We've had some mellow dogs that just love to chill out and spend time indoors with us or lazily sun on our very sunny deck off the kitchen. And of course at night, once the kids go to bed, we always hang out in the TV room and cuddle with the dogs before bed.
