Growing up with 5 dogs, ranging from a dorky miniature dachshund to a sweet, slightly senile German shepherd and husky mix, made my childhood home a bit of a zoo. It all began when my parents, seeing my brothers' and my own love for animals, told us that if we saved our money to each pay for a puppy, we could pick out any breed we wanted. So, at 4 years old, I began saving my money to buy a miniature dachshund. When I was 7, Bubbles entered my life. Bubbles, Breezy, and Cocoa, the puppies that my brothers and I bought, would soon be joined by Lakota, and Sam, plus a few cats and a grumpy rabbit along the way. These pets guaranteed that messes, affection, playtime, chaos, belly-rubs, lots of joy, and oh so much love comprised every day! 16 years later, my family only owns our 2 newest puppy family members, Dobby and Whiskey. Having raised the others from puppy hood to senior citizenry, I understand both the labor of love that is invested in one's pets and the incredible, selfless love that pets tend to return to their owners. Because of this, I always grew nervous when leaving my pets in the care of someone else. I wondered if they'd receive enough love, if their needs would be attended to, and if the person watching them would go the extra mile to take good care of them. I promise that every time I watch your pet, you do not have to worry about these things. My goal is to always make you and your pet feel at ease. I promise to love your pet as my own, play with them, cuddle them, and make sure that they are pawsitively pampered.
