Pet care experience
A few years ago I went through Clever Canines 10 week program with my crazy English Pointer, an experience that gave me the skills & confidence to house sit (as well as foster) dogs of all ages, sizes & temperaments. I work from home in our bright corner unit condo in a pet-friendly building in the East Village. We have a large wrap around balcony, perfect for naps in the sunshine. We are next to a small fenced in off leash park. If your dog loves off leash play, we can stop by at the end of our walks to meet some new friends. I will take your dog for a couple of walks a day plus as many pee breaks as needed. I have a sweet rescue chi x who naps most of the day; I love having a buddy who wants to run or hike with (and doesn't need to be carried in a backpack!). Thank you for considering leaving your fur baby with me.

A typical day
We will walk along the river and practice loose leash walking, focus exercises and things such as sit stays. Inside, we will work on sitting before eating, play 'hide the treats' and other games depending on what your dog enjoys.

Availability
I work from home and start my day with a walk along the river pathway. I take my dog out for a lunch time leg stretch & fresh air break. After work, another walk!
