I have been obsessed with dogs as long as I can remember! My family has affectionately referred to me as the dog whisperer for years! I love all shapes and sizes though I have a special place in my heart for shepherds. I have experience raising my own Shiloh shepherd and I currently have a longhaired dachshund and a cattle dog. I would love to take your dog on walks, hikes or to a dog park. I currently live in an apartment, but I prefer to be outside as much as possible. I am willing to stay at your home or stop by throughout the day. I have a fairly flexible schedule and would love to take care of your baby while you are on vacation or unavailable.

She took the time to meet us and Stella as soon as she took the job, and it was clear she connected with Stella and showered her with love. Kristie was an awesome sitter! She did so much more for my dog than required, like taking her for rides, giving her a lick mat and a treat ball. She played ball with her and we stayed in close communication. She took pictures daily. Highly recommend her!!!

I do not let my dogs play unattended and make sure to be aware of the dogs that are around. I am a huge advocate for reward based training and treat my dogs for good behavior. I love teaching them new things and I am always working to keep my dogs stimulated.

I would love to do a meet and greet beforehand so we can make sure your dog feels comfortable. Please let me know of any quirks or special things about your pup (favorite toy, where they love to sleep, how they feel about other dogs, etc.) I DO NOT do same day drop ins or walks. You must set up a meet and greet before I work with your dog. This helps make your dog more comfortable!
A typical day
I love to be outside and enjoy going for walks of hiking. I am always looking for new trails and hikes. My own dog loves to swim so I am a huge fan of dog parks with water features. My other dog loves to snuggle so I am also a big fan of cuddling on the couch. I could pet a dog as long as they would let me.
