No Females in Heat
Kristie is so good that this was the first time Py didn't want to go home with me ?
She also trimmed his nails and provided suggestion on his food. I will highly recommend her if you need to find a place to board your dog!
Bailey had an amazing time at Kristie’s. I got daily check ins and photos while I was out of town.
This is our first time having someone else taking care of my dog, Quinn. It's such a blessing having her with Quinn. Kristie is responsible and patience. I have no worry whatsoever. I love the video, text and photo updates. Quinn got to play with new friends. Kristie is awesome and highly recommended!! She knows what she is doing. We will be back!
Veterinary Animal Care Experience
I have professional experience working with and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, as I worked at a veterinary hospital for a few years doing animal care and grooming. Through all my interactions with the animals in both the boarding and grooming environments—having seen and dealt with many types of situations—I have valuable experience and insight that make me keenly aware, sensitive, and knowledgeable in this field. What Kristie would like to know about your dog
I would like to know anything you could tell me about your dog's personality, temperament, likes/dislikes, etc. before sitting him or her. Usual bathroom schedule? Feeding routine? Friendly with strangers/children? Friendly with other dogs? Illnesses/medical needs? Toy/food aggression? Knowing any and all details in advance will help ensure that I can keep your dog safe and comfortable.
* BREEDS/SIZES: I am open to most breeds and sizes for most of my services, although I do prefer small to medium-sized dogs for day care and boarding in my house. Rover's range for "large" dogs is 41-100 lbs; I can accept larger dogs up to about 60-65 lbs as long as they are calm and friendly. If you have a dog larger than that but are still interested in my services, please shoot me a message anyway and I may be able to accommodate you depending on the dog's temperament. Rates will be slightly higher for Large/XL dogs.
* ACCESSIBILITY: I live in a 3-story townhouse so there are lots of stairs in my home. For the dogs' safety, there are gates to block off each level so that the dogs do not run up and down all the time and so that they do not run off to another part of the house out of my sight. If you have an older dog or a dog with hip/joint problems who may have trouble with the stairs (and slippery hardwood floors), my house may not be a good match for you. I can and will carry smaller dogs up and down, but I will not be able to do this for large dogs.
* NOISE: As mentioned, I am in a townhouse so I am directly connected with many other units and have neighbors very close by in front of and behind my home. I also have a tenant in my house. That being said, to be considerate of those around me, I prefer quieter and calmer dogs who do not bark excessively.
